Since 2018, Orange Bow has worked tirelessly to ensure that talent – not background -defines success for young people and adults in our community.
At Orange Bow, we believe everyone deserves the chance to learn, grow, and feel inspired to become their best self. Founded in 2018 as a Community Interest Company (CIC) rooted in Lambeth, we collaborate closely with the Job Centre, local businesses, and recruiters to serve young people (aged 16+) and adults who are unemployed or from underrepresented communities.
We understand how stressful it can be to face the job market without the right qualifications or work experience. This is why we offer a safe, supportive space—online and at our Tulse Hill hub—where people can develop new skills, build self-confidence, and explore their creativity.
By integrating Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) principles into our programmes, we help participants build resilience, sharpen communication skills, and boost their overall wellbeing. Through this holistic model, we tackle the barriers that can hinder people from entering work, ensuring every learner feels confident, optimistic, and ready to pursue their goals.
We create a safe, welcoming space for our participants in Lambeth and beyond.
We stay on top of industry trends and adapt our courses to real-world needs.
We partner with organisations, businesses, and mentors to broaden opportunities for our learners.
We treat everyone fairly, striving to understand each person’s unique circumstances.
We welcome people of all backgrounds, championing every voice and perspective.
We inspire learners to embrace new skills, unlock creativity, and aim for brighter futures.
Our team is a collective of dedicated professionals from media, business, and community development backgrounds. They guide our learners towards meaningful careers and personal growth.
For several years now, Orange Bow has been working in the heart of Lambeth, supporting more than 750 local young people and adults from NEET backgrounds. Many of our learners are not in education, employment, or training and our programmes give them the essential knowledge and skills they need to either secure a job or continue their studies.

Having witnessed the challenges people face in finding employment, I have dedicated my skills to supporting others on their journey into meaningful work. My vision for Orange Bow is to become a self-sufficient CIC, creating sustainable opportunities through initiatives like hosting networking events, podcasting and running our very own cafe, ensuring we can continue empowering our young people and adults.
I see my team as a misfits family, and I deeply believe in our ability to achieve what others may see as impossible!
I joined Orange Bow in February 2022 and became our youngest director just a few months later, at the age of 23. My role involves researching and managing funding opportunities, overseeing administrative tasks, and building partnerships that expand our reach. It’s been incredible to watch Orange Bow grow, and I’m proud to have helped hundreds of young people and adults develop new skills, secure jobs, and build confidence. We’re devoted to helping people aim for a brighter future, and being part of this caring and committed team is a privilege.
I am in charge of coordinating & facilitating, masterclasses, workshops and events for Orange Bow. After joining the team 2 years ago, I have worked on various projects for young people and unemployed adults. I love being part of the process in which young people are given the training and opportunities they need to progress personally and professionally.
Orange Bow has been my home for growth over the past five years, giving me the chance to learn and pass on my podcasting knowledge to younger learners. I’m proud to see our students step out of their comfort zones and explore new creative horizons. By mastering the different elements of podcasting, they gain both technical skills and the confidence to chase future employment opportunities.
I joined Orange Bow in 2024 and it’s been an amazing journey so far. My role involves coordinating various projects and ensuring that our current and prospective participants receive the highest quality service. Working with people from diverse backgrounds has helped me grow personally and professionally, and I’m eager to keep supporting Orange Bow’s mission to transform lives through education and opportunity.
I’m part of Orange Bow’s Mic Check Studio podcast team and I spearhead Orange Bow’s in-house podcast called MIMS, taking charge of the filming and editing as well as running the social media channels. Through Orange Bow’s willingness to give young people a chance to grow and develop their skills I was able to create this lane for myself. Now I find myself in a position where I’m able to do for others what Orange Bow has done for me and that’s provide support and a platform for young people to come and learn skills that they are able to take with them into any future job opportunities!
My job is to find work placement opportunities and apprenticeship opportunities for young people. Encouraging them to be confident within a work space. I work with Orange Bow to help provide a safe space where young people can learn, grow and gain practical skills improving their overall wellbeing through our platform. I would like to provide life changing opportunities Helping them to aim for a brighter future, and I am looking forward to contributing to their future in a positive way!
I started at Orange Bow as a Digital Marketing course graduate and was thrilled to take on the full marketing strategy at the beginning of 2024. My role gives me the creative freedom to work on a variety of projects and connect with like minded individuals. Orange Bow supported me from day one, and now I’m driven to help others find their confidence and realise their potential in the same way.
As part of the Mic Check team, I host the MIMS podcast and other creative content that Orange Bow produces. I’ve been given a fantastic opportunity to follow my passion in podcasting, and I’ve received constant support to build both my confidence and my career. Being here feels like the perfect platform to learn, grow, and share my voice with the world.
I’m passionate about harnessing the power of technology to uplift our community. At Orange Bow, I develop and implement digital strategies, making sure we stay at the cutting edge of tech trends. From AI-driven learning tools to innovative digital workshops, I strive to help our young people and adults gain the tech-savvy skills they need to excel in today’s job market.
Since joining Orange Bow, I’ve focused on streamlining our day-to-day operations to ensure we deliver maximum impact for the Lambeth community. Whether I’m coordinating new training programmes or collaborating with local businesses, I love seeing our learners grow in confidence and skill. My hope is that Orange Bow continues to be a beacon of possibility, where everyone feels empowered to reach their full potential.
