We provide highly structured training and development in different skill areas. We mentor young people to create real opportunities that will see them grow as individuals. We work within the community to inspire and encourage young people.

Our Story

At Orange Bow, we believe that everyone can learn, grow and feel inspired to be the best and brightest version of themselves.

Founded in 2018, as a community interest company (CIC) Orange Bow, serves the needs of people within the borough of Lambeth and the wider city of London. Working in collaboration with the Job Centre, local businesses, and recruiters, we provide young people and adults aged 16+ who are out of employment or from underprivileged communities with work-based training opportunities to boost their employability and employment prospects.

We understand that the pressure of unemployment can be stressful for most people. Trying to find work, with no prior experience, skills or qualification can be daunting, cause stress and anxiety and in the long term impact a person’s motivation and mental health. Our mission is to help people aim for a brighter future by providing a safe space where people can learn, grow, gain practical skills and improve their wellbeing whilst also exploring their creativity.

Whether at our Hub in Lambeth or online, we deliver courses in Digital Skills for Work, Digital Skills for Business, Functional Skills, IT and Customer Service. Upon completion of one of our courses, learners receive interview preparation and a nationally recognised qualification that can be added to their CV to help boost their employment prospects.

Our learning programmes are curated by credible experts and professionals; they embed asepts of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) principles to help build resilience, improve communication and interpersonal skills, to help prepare our learners for interviews and navigating the workplace. We also work with qualified Counsellors and CBT therapists who provide 1:1 counselling sessions to individuals who require more mental or psychological support.
